The Jonas Brothers’ new Disney Channel series,
Jonas, premieres May 2, just before they kick off their world tour. While on the road, the brothers will have plenty of time to catch up on their favorite shows. Here’s what Kevin, Nick and Joe are dying to know.
Q: “I’m a huge
Lie to Me fan. How do they keep coming up with new ways to catch people lying?
—Kevin A: “I live in Hollywood, so I have ample opportunities to hone my skills on a daily basis,” says
Lie to Me executive producer Samuel Baum, who is thrilled to hear his Fox show “appeals to all ages.” Baum advises Kevin to catch the explosive May 13 season finale, involving a possible terrorist attack that forces Tim Roth’s Dr. Lightman to question “when honesty isn’t the best policy.”
Q: “
Flight of the Conchords is such a genius show. Will there be a third season?”
—Joe A: Conchords star Jemaine Clement says they’re currently considering signing on for a third season with HBO. “The fact that it’s Joe Jonas’ favorite show will be taken into consideration,” Jemaine says. “When we created the show, the Jonas Brothers were our target demographic.” The Conchords’ North American tour goes through May 25, and their second album drops in early summer.
Q: “I’m a big
Heroes fan. I want some scoop on Sylar.” —Nick
A: You got it, Nick. A show insider says the April 27 season finale will be a big episode for the seemingly indestructible baddie. “After taking on the shape-shifting ability that further complicates his identity crisis, Sylar is responsible for a hero’s death,” says my mole, adding that Sylar’s “comeuppance will be poetic.” Apparently Sylar’s victim is a hero who’s been on the show since the first season—and because I’m hearing Hayden Panettiere (Claire), Milo Ventimiglia (Peter), Masi Oka (Hiro) and Ali Larter (Tracy) will all be back for Season 4, we should perhaps be worried about Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder), Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) or Greg Grunberg (Matt).
