Forget the first nine episodes of
Entourage’s Season 6, producer Doug Ellin says it’s all about the last three of the season.
“The three best episodes that we’ve ever done are coming up,” Ellin told
TV Guide Magazine at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards Nominees for Outstanding Programs reception September 14. “Everything that everybody wants they’ll see. Ari wants to kill Lloyd, and Drama doesn’t know who his agent is. There’s just lots of good stuff.”
In the last episode, after years of Ari’s rants and ridiculous requests, Lloyd finally quits in a rage, abandoning Ari's smashed-up car in Beverly Hills. Whether he’s gone for good remains to be seen, but one thing is certain. “You’re going to see an angry Ari,” Ellin says. And speaking of anger issues, Drama’s hazing days may be over with another job on the horizon. “Kevin Dillon has the best stuff we’ve ever done for him on the show coming up in the next three episodes. He’s going to continue to be hazed, but he’s got a new acting opportunity coming up, so [Drama] is going to see if he can get out of his contract with this guy who hates him.”
Other relationships will also be tested. Now that Turtle is the Man on Campus, his frat-boy persona and sufficient number of sorority sisters may prove too crowded for girlfriend Jamie-Lynn Sigler. “All of a sudden Turtle’s got girls after him,” Ellin says.
The star wattage is also high on the last episodes. “We’ve got Lebron James, Matt Damon, and Bono coming up. They’re all playing themselves,” Ellin says. “You’re going to see Matt Damon, he’s got a charity, he’s interested in Vince getting involved with his One X One charity. Bono and Lebron are also involved with that. It’s got Dean Cain coming up. These are our three best episodes.”
