Primeval Roars Back To Life
September 29, 2009 08:58 AM EST

BBC America announced today that the hit UK series Primeval will return for 13 new episodes in 2011. The deal includes three production partners (Impossible Pictures Limited, BBC Worldwide and ITV) co-funding the new series in order to ensure the successful Primeval special effects will continue throughout the new season.

"Primeval is one of BBC America's all time top ten shows and we're thrilled to be co-producing the new season," said Richard de Croce, SVP Programming at BBC America. "It’s an innovative deal securing the future of an innovative show - and we can’t wait to bring it back to U.S. fans.”

The new series will be show-run once again by Adrian Hodges and will feature the return of stars from the previous series, including Hannah Spearritt, Andrew Lee Potts and Jason Flemyng.
