Jack Coleman is the first to admit that the third season of
Heroes was a bit perplexing, but he says it’s time viewers stopped trashing his show. “I think there was a critical mass [saying], ‘Dump on
Heroes.’ Some people came around, but some people aren’t seeing what’s on the screen anymore,” Coleman (Noah “HRG” Bennet) told TV Guide Magazine at the Oakley Intro to Summer event in Los Angeles on May 28. “I think the entire second half of that volume 'Fugitives' was really strong, and I wish critics would start paying attention to it. It was as good as anything we did in the first season.”
The actor says that getting Bryan Fuller back as a writer (he returned after
Pushing Daisies’ cancellation) is a “blessing and only good will come of it.” The next volume, “Redemption,” is more character-driven, he adds. “I love [the story of] Sylar stuck in Nathan’s body. There’s all kinds of potential for a Jekyll and Hyde story—two souls in a battle for possession of one body,” he says, adding that we haven’t seen the last of Zachary Quinto. “The stories are really juicy. It’s about the heroes touching base with who they are and getting back to what’s important to them. I’m very excited.”

Heroes return in the fall? Or do you think it’s too late for redemption?
