Glee won’t return to Fox until this fall and Lea Michele, who plays uptight teen Rachel Berry, tells
TV Guide Magazine there’s plenty of surprises in store for the McKinley High Glee Club. Fans of
Nip/ Tuck creator Ryan Murphy's singing-and-dancing satire can look forward to several well-known singer/actors harmonizing with Rachel and the gang in the very near future.
“We already had Josh Groban, Kristin Chenoweth, Victor Garber and Debra Monk come in,” says Michele. Groban will play an exaggerated version of himself as “an absolute jerk” while
Wicked alum Chenoweth will guest star as a high school dropout “who’s a fantastic singer who comes in to join the Glee Club.”
Although Michele remains mum about Garber and Monk’s roles, she’s does predict the show's fans are in for an exciting fall. “We’ve had a bunch of guest stars and they made the show so fantastic,” she explains. “In my opinion, the show is like a ten and then you have these people come in and they make it like 100!”
What did you think of the
Glee premiere? Will you watch it when it returns this fall?
