NCIS viewers are used to not following the characters home from work. One exception has been Gibbs (
Mark Harmon), yet CBS’ No. 1 hit has only ever gone inside his giant cellar, where he’s perpetually building boats. That changes with the Nov. 3 episode, which—gasp!—takes us into his living room. "After seven seasons in the basement, we figured
NCIS fans would love to get a peek into Gibbs' living quarters,” says exec producer
Shane Brennan. “What fans will see is an insight into what is important in Gibbs' life...and what he cherishes the most." Don’t get used to it; it’s not a standing set and has already been disassembled. What this exclusive sneak-preview photo of the craftsman-style home’s interior does reveal is that Gibbs—no Ikea man, he—has well-worn, decades-old furniture, offering proof positive of what we already knew: The dude’s a bachelor, all right.
