Time for the
Vampire Diaries kids to hit the history books.
After an exhaustive search, the hit CW show has cast Matt Davis to play history teacher Alaric
Saltzman, a fan favorite from the books on which the series is based. The handsome, smart and sexy new history teacher who comes to town knowing a lot more than he's letting on about Mystic Falls' history with vampires. Davis will debut on the November 12 episode. Asked what he was looking for in casting the role, executive producer Kevin Williamson told me a guy who is "hot." He delivered.
