Just when things were looking up on
The Good Wife (Tuesdays, 10/9c, CBS)! The law firm starts making cutbacks, forcing junior associate Alicia (Julianna Margulies) to fight for her job—but it’s her marriage that really tests her mettle this month. When prison surveillance keeps her jailed hubby (Chris Noth) from feeding her helpful info on a case, he arranges a conjugal visit. For the first time in seven months, the couple are alone.
Exec producer Robert King reveals that another challenge arrives as “Alicia is put on the stand to speak up for her husband at a hearing that could get him sent home with electronic monitoring. It’s a way for the new state’s attorney [
Titus Welliver] to embarrass her.” The Florrick offspring are also providing a fresh source of angst. “Alicia starts to worry that their dad’s scandal is pushing her kids to have sex earlier than they should,” says King.
