Two and a Half Men Channels Three's Company
November 17, 2009 12:44 PM EST

jeers to Two and a Half Men for proving three isn't its lucky number. In last week's creepy episode, brothers Charlie (Charlie Sheen) and Alan (Jon Cryer) spent a drunken night with the same woman (and exchanged underwear in the process). With zero apparent ramifications from that debauchery, Charlie found himself fantasizing about a threesome with his fiancée, Chelsea (the generic Jennifer Taylor), and her heartbroken visiting college pal (Tricia Helfer, who's more convincing as a Cylon on Battlestar Galactica). Isn't it too soon to go back to the ménage a trois well? And while a guy with two sexy female roomies is a classic comedic combo, this Two and a Half Men didn't tally the laughs generated by an average episode of Three's Company. If only Mr. Furley could've come and knocked on Charlie's door...

What do you think—was three a crowd on Two and a Half Men?
