Danny Pudi's dead-on impression of
Christian Bale's Batman) that
Commmunity may have broken
Gilmore Girls's quips-per-minute record. (I also love the tags with Pudi and
Don Glover—this week dressed as
Eddie Murphy in Delirious—riffing on random topics, like how candy corn looks like little traffic cones.)
Joel McHale’s freshman sitcom about a DUI lawyer who goes back to complete his college degree has been a ratings underachiever since moving to the tough 8 pm leadoff slot on Thursdays, but NBC recently picked it up for a
full season. It deserves another semester’s worth of episodes—anything less would be a disservice to the TV
Community.
