Eastwick Gets The Axe
By Stephen Battaglio  November 09, 2009 09:07 PM EST

The verdict is in on ABC's 10 p.m. freshman dramas.

The network has ordered five more episodes of The Forgotten, the procedural crime drama from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

No such luck for Eastwick, which will not go beyond the initial 13 ABC ordered. The Wednesday at 10 time period is the likely location for a new season of Lost.

Eastwick has struggled against NBC's The Jay Leno Show and time period leader CSI:NY on CBS. Last week, the show starring Rebecca Romijn and Lindsay Price averaged under 5 million viewers.

The Forgotten hasn't exactly blazed on Tuesday, but the network likely wanted to preserve its relationship with Bruckheimer by giving the show more time to grow.

Still waiting for word on a full season order is Hank, the lackluster 8 o'clock anchor for ABC's otherwise successful Wednesday comedy line-up.
